In recent years there’s been an intensified commercial development of the centre of Hargeisa, due to increased demand for office, retail and hospitality spaces. The site which the project is located, immediately on the edge of the historical city centre offers better road connections in and out of the area and improved opportunities to offer parking for delivery of goods, occupants and the general public that visit for services and shopping experience. The area is anticipated to become the new financial and commercial centre of the city. Unlike the city centre, which is dominated by retail developments, India Lane area will be mostly occupied by service companies that include banks, insurance and communications companies.

The building is located on strategic corner junction that connects the two most important roads, which lead in and out of the city centre. The ground floor contains retail units, while the upper two floors are used as offices.
